Why Native plants? Smart landscapes and gardens incorporate Native plantings. Come learn about Natives at this FREE class on March 7th from 1-2pm. All attendees receive 20% off native plants the day of the class.

About The Event

Smart landscapes and gardens incorporate Native plantings.  Our selections will provide exceptional sources of pollen and nectar for the native bees and birds.  The dense growth habit of some species create perfect habitat and food for nesting and shelter of our perennial and migratory birds. Wisely combined with a water source, these choices not just fill a space with beauty; they create an ecosystem!  We have dozens of options for sunny areas, part shade locations and for soils that hold excess water. Evergreens, deciduous shrubs and conifers, as well as dense native shrubs for privacy screening.  We’ve also made the effort to stock Western Red Cedar and Incense Cedars to help replace our dying Port Orford Cedars.  These varieties are resistant to the disease that has plagued our forests for decades and will definitely be a legacy effort by you for future generations to enjoy.  Come join us for a…
